The Madison Concourse Hotel needed a site that matched design specifications provided by their advertising agency. The finished product was required to maintain the look and feel of existing promotional materials that had been created for the hotel.
The primary goals of the site included adherence to web usability standards whenever possible, as well as compatibility with a wide range of browsers and systems. Another major influence on the composition of the site was the fact that pages would need to be maintained by personnel with little to no knowledge of HTML if need be - but without the expense of implementing any automated content management systems.
The finished product strikes an excellent balance between simplicity, usability, and navigability in a site with so much content that a user could easily become lost. |
