This complete e-commerce solution evolved for the client over a period of approximately 2 years. As the scope of the project expanded, so did the services and features available at the site. In addition to the customer interface, complete inventory management, billing, coupons, specials, newsletters and other back-end systems were written to allow the client to maintain the site with minimal ongoing assistance.

In addition to the visual design and coding of the site, I handled product photography for more than 3,000 individual (and often challenging) items, earning the client a strong reputation for their remarkable product images.

A primary goal during the development of this site was that users with older and more limited browser technologies should still be able to use the site and complete transactions. Functionality was heavily browser-tested, and ultimately cooperated even with services such as WebTV.
